Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL), a non-life insurance provider in Nepal, was established by the Government of Nepal on Jestha 28, 2071 BS, after separating it from Rastriya Beema Sansthan. It was separated to solely run the business of non-life insurance, in line with Insurance Act. With over 55 years of experience, company has been offering diverse insurance services since its inception on Sarawan 18, 2071 BS. As the only government-owned non-life insurance company, RBCL plays a vital role in the country’s insurance market, catering to government ministries, agencies, public institutions, private businesses, and the general public.

The Board of Directors (BOD) of Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) is composed according to Clause 27 of the Articles of Association. It includes two members appointed by the Nepal government, one of whom serves as the Chairman. Additionally, there is one member representing the Employees Provident Fund, one member representing Nepal Bank Limited, and one independent director appointed by the BOD. The board also includes two members from the public shareholders.
